Meet Jackie
Hi! My name is Jackie. I'm excited to be on this great Design Team here at The Paper Variety. I live in South Florida with my hubby of 23 years and my four children ranging from 11 years old to 20. I have had the pleasure being a stay at home mom and my husbands secretary for the past 20 years. I have also been my children's teacher having home schooled them for the past 17 years. Before children I was a Kindergarten teacher.
I started being crafty when I was a child and have dabbled in everything from ceramics to cross stitching. I started playing with paper and scrapbooking about 7 years ago. I was introduced to it by a few friends and have been hooked ever since. I have been on several design teams and published a few times online and in paper.
Inspiration for me comes from all over, from the new scrapbooker to the veteran. I glean from all who create. I love to follow bloggers and watch their creative process grow and change. It inspires me in my creating.
I can't wait to see what inspirations you all have for me out there!
Here's a few of my favorite creations:

Meet Hannah
Hello, my name is Hannah, and I am so excited to be here :)
I am 17 and I live with my Mum, Dad, brother James, and our Lakeland Terrier, Rolo, in the South East of England. I am currently in year 12 doing my AS levels, Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Psychology, and I had my last AS exam a few weeks ago. I have developed a real love for Psychology, and am planning to study this at degree level in a few years time.
So, a bit about my crafting ... well, I LOVE anything arty and crafty. My Mum and I both share a love for being creative, we both started card making roughly 7 years ago, after buying a kit to make Christmas cards. I then moved into scrapbooking a couple of years later, and haven't stopped being creative since. I love spending as much time as I can indulging in my many creative hobbies, which, as well as card making and scrapbooking, include cake decorating, mixed media art, jewellery making, drawing and photography. One of my proudest achievements was my Art GCSE, in which I received an A* grade, something that is very hard to achieve, my school had never had an A* in art before, but then 3, including me, came along in one year!! My scrapbooking tends to be very layered, with many embellishments and papers, and my card making style is very clean and simple, taking a 'less is more' approach.
I am soooo excited to be part of the Paper Variety design team, thank you Suzy and Abby. I stumbled across this challenge blog a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it, so to be a member of their DT is incredible. I can't wait to start creating my projects and meeting many of you who play along :)
So, I shall just finish by showing you some of my favourite projects.
Join us tomorrow when we feature our last two designers, Kylie & Cassie!
Wow, amazing projects!! Love your style girls!
