  2. Congratulations Lisa! Why not have an Easter Challenge for the upcoming holiday, or a Mother's Day project as we get closer to Mother's Day? Or try a blk/whi + another color challenge?

  3. Congrats to Lisa! What about a motivational layout challenge. I did one up last fall and was quite pleased with my results.

  4. I would love to see a challenge about altering some item or maybe recycling!! That could be fun!

  5. Congrats, Lisa! WTG!

Challege themes: technique, color, number (1 of this, 2 of that, etc), topic (children, school, season, holiday, etc), manufacturer, a particular product (doily, ribbon, stamped image or sentiment, diecuts, felt, etc). That's all I can think of other than sketch at the moment. :-)

  6. Congratulations Lisa....love your layout! Glad to see you exercising your freedom! As for challenges...how about scrapping a picture that is at least ten years old?

  7. Congrats Lisa ~ I love your layout with those colors and the photos are classic!

I would like to see Christmas in July ~ I myself find I take way more photos at that time of the year but only ever scrap a few and as for my cards ... I never have enough and each year I always say I will start making them earlier. Just a thought :)

Congrats TPV for 500 followers as well Woo HOO !!!

  10. I love product challenges. How about a challenge to use string or twine? (hemp twine, baker's twine, jute, burlap string, embroider floss, crochet string, etc.)

  11. Dang, I saw a really neat idea for a challenge on another blog the other day, but from your hint I think you have seen it too.

  12. I haven't read the previous comments so I don't know if this has been mentioned before or not: I am thinking of an ad challenge (create a page based on a given ad). Congratulations on 500 followers! You gals have created a great inspiring place for scrapbookers and paper crafters!

  14. How about use 3 different collections from your favourite manufacturer on the one layout?
Or, what being a Mother means to you. If you're not a Mother, it would be what your Mother means to you.

  15. I would like to see a circle sketch layout...which I am struggling to do. I have not seen any challenge hosting this type of sketch and it is very challenging indeed.

  16. Congrats to the winner and to TPV for hitting 500 followers! What about lifting the talented fans? Choose a certain challenge and have everyone visit the participants through their blogs and choose one to lift. Does that make sense?

  17. I would love to see a christmas in the summer challenge...christmas cards are always a big challenge and usually a crunch...so if there were a few challenges around it would be easier to get a move on on the cards!!

  18. Congratulations on 500 followers! How about a challenge using your oldest supplies? I know I have lots of "old school" scrapping supplies still buried in my stash - it would be fun to be challenged to use them :)

  20. How about a challenge based on a song title or song lyrics??

    ReplyDelete
  21. Congratulations on 500 followers!! I was going to say a lyric or song as Michelle above said... but also a Quote works well for a challenge....:)

Or using a handmade embellishment on your LO...

Or an Inspiration Pic is also one of my favorites!

    Thanks for the chance

  22. challenge idea: represent a nationality/culture

  23. I wish I did last weeks sketch! I loved it and saved it for later!

I love working with a specific line of papers, so to be challenged, it would be good to have to use a certain number of manus on a page.

I also love recipe challenges and of course sketches!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I love sketches-another idea would be an "inspired" challenge-i.e. "etsy inspired", "art inspired", "ad inspired"...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Congratulations on 500 followers!
I'm on a mission to use-my-stash this year so I'd love to see challenges that encourage everyone to find new ways to 'renew' and use up older stash items, as well as some DT ideas in this area too :)

  30. I'd love to see some Easter cards.

  31. CONGRATS LISA!!!!!! way to go!!!
I always love a good sketch challenge, a card or LO one are always good. Also a technique challenge to get me to try something different or that I may not do!!!

  32. OMG! Thank you! I just sent you an email with my info.

    Congrats on 500 followers!
How about a creative banner challenge?

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think it would be great to do travel pages-get some of those pages scrapped before another summer comes around with new ones to scrap. Also, I think it would be fun to do a challenge with water-scrapbook a picture with water in it, or mimic water on a page or card.

  34. My challenge suggestion is a layout consisting of a current picture of ourselves and a picture from our childhood/teen years. There are so many cute, retro collections & embellishments to play with now. These days, my LSS is my toy store & candy shop. Congrats of 500!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. congrats on 500 followers and an awesome blog!
How about a challenge that the layout has to have a series of action shots on it?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I would like to see a challenge where you have to incorporate felt and make at least one hand-made flower... :-) Thanks for a chance to win! I enjoy your challenges even though I've never hit the random.org on one yet! ;-)

  37. I think a good challenge would be to make a sympathy card. It is so hard to find sentiments that are appropriate. I am a new follower.

  38. what about teaching everyone a technique-custom coloring bling, or embossing chipboard, or creating handmade flowers, or using punches in a unique way (using a cloud punch for a cupcake, or a border punch as a mask)-and then challenging them to use that on their project for the week? You could do a new technique once a month. That way, everyone learns something new, and tries it out right away!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think it would be super fun to do a "mis-match" challenge. Take 3 papers that do not match and find a way to use them together on a project. I tend to stay pretty matchy matchy.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Congrats Lisa!
    Congrats on 500+ followers!

I love ad inspiration challenges, color/monotone challenges, journaling pages and recycle something type challenges.

    Keep up the good work!

  41. I would love to see a Past Time challenge, meaning using something from the creators past to either make a card of/for, LO or decor... Thank you so much for the chance and great challenges!

  45. Congrats on the growing blog!!!!! I would love to see a challenge where your project is centered around using your favorite scrapbook manufacturer. The possibilities are endless. It could be a paper manufacturer where you would use their paper, or even a manufacturer like Fiskars, where you could use their punches!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I would love to see some kind of time or financially thrifty challenge. Just to warn you though, I would win either. :)

  47. I'm going to suggest using a sketch because I LOVE sketches. But I'm sure that's an "old" idea that may have been posted several times. So to be 'original', I'm going to suggest using a sketch from Nuts About Sketches: http://nutsaboutsketches.blogspot.com/ because I think her sketches rock big time!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I love a good color challenge! SO happy to have found your fun challenge site!

  49. Let's see--you have some pretty great challenges here already! I always love sketches. HOw about a lift? Or make a LO and then use the scraps to make a card?
