Meet Abby!

 Hello scrappy friends! My name is Tabitha, but my friends have called me Abby for many years. I'm a 38yr old (today is my birthday!) single mother of one sweet and handsome 11yr old boy. We live in central Illinois and I'm a substitute for our school district.

I've always had an artsy side. I've won several art awards in elementary and high school and always had a sketch pad nearby. I started scrapbooking 12 years ago when I was carrying my son. I'm known to have a horrible memory and I didn't want to forget one moment of my little miracle. I'm so proud to say my creative genes have been passed on to my son as he is quite the artist. I really enjoy taking pictures and hope to one day purchase a really nice camera and try my hand at photography. About a year ago, I started cardmaking and although I love making them, I often forget to send them out. :)

I really don't know how to describe my scrappy style. I absolutely love bright and bold colors, layering papers, adding fun embellishments, almost always include dimension and love the look and feel of stitching - yet I don't do that often as I have to hand-stitch.. I have so many favorite scrappy companies, my list is never ending. Most of my layouts feature my son as he and his smile are my inspiration in everything I do. I also enjoy creating layouts of our diva kitty and my toddler nephew. Here are a few of my favorite projects...
