Welcome, Guest Designer: Tracy Mittleholtz! :)

My name is Tracy Mittleholtz, and I live in Wiarton Ontario.  If you google that, you will probably meet Wiarton Willie, the albino groundhog, who, every February 2 predicts if winter will last 6 more weeks.  At the time of writing, I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful boys ages 6 and 5, and a spouse of one fantastic man who has embraced this hobby I call scrapbooking.  I am hoping to have paid employment by the time you read this, and actually have an interview coming up shortly.  I need to pay for this most wonderful hobby, you know!  I have been scrapbooking seriously since 2003, when I did an album of our wedding day.  My favourite medium is paper, but have known to try other items on my pages.  As this weeks assignment was to do anything BUT a card or a layout, I chose to try my hand with candles.  I took tissue paper, stamped it, and with my heat gun, applied it to the wax pillar candle.  I'm happy with the result, and I hope you may give it a try!

What a clever project!
Thank you so much for joining us, Tracy!

  1. These are fun to make! But moving every 3 years means I have to leave candles behind. I had some great ones. :)

We love hearing your feedback! :) Thanks so much! ~ Abby and Suzanne
