Welcome, Guest Designer: Kim Martin! :)




HOWDY ALL!
I am Kim Martin aka Me-Ma Kim in the bloggy world. I live in Versailles, MO which is close to the Lake of the Ozarks, kinda rural around here but we do have a Walmart! LOL! Winter time around here is S-L-O-W, but come Summer this area THRIVES. I live with my hubby and we have been together for 13+years and married a little over 2 years. I have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren who are the APPLES of my EYE! They are the main subjects in my layouts. I recently closed my little happy place, a small scrapbook store, due to the lovely economy. It just wasn’t profitable enough and it was a SAD day when I had to make that decision. Right now I am a stay at home wife and babysitter for the grandkids, while I try to find a job.

I have been scrapbooking for almost 15 years now. I started the summer my daughter turned 16, when I was introduced to Creative Memories. I look at her first book and just shake my head at all the stickers. LOL! I guess that is why I don’t use many stickers now. My projects can go from Clean and Simple to very Ornate, I think it just depends on my pictures and my mood. I am THRILLED to be a Guest DT for The Paper Variety this week.
