I'm *so* excited about this week's challenge.. so let's get right to it! :)
Fall is my favorite time of year.. let's see some of those forest critters frolicking on a card, scrapbook page, or project!!
Our sponsor this week is Scrap-Friendzy!
This week's prize is a GORGEOUS "Sea-side Cottage" kit:

I thought this challenge was the perfect occassion to pull out my Cricut since there's so many adorable critters on all the cartridges :)
I made my first altered canvas!!! I found this 8x8 canvas at my local thrift store. It was bright green with fusia ladybugs on it but it was only $1 so in my cart it went....I knew I could do SOMETHING with it. I gave it several coats of white paint, adhered some burlap on it with Elmer's spray adhesive and embellished it. The adorable owls were gifted to me from our very own Abby and I found the perfect sentiment from the new Little Yellow Bicycle "Hello Fall" collection. The corrugated leaves are from Jillibean Soup and the antique wooden button was out of a $5 mason jar full of buttons labeled "Gram's buttons" -- another awesome thrift store find!!
I went all girly on my Forest Friend and made a pink hootie using my Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge! I had lots of fun with this and ended up with 3 hooties of different sizes ;-) I decided to make this picture frame of my daughter's 1st birthday and had lots of fun with it!
I made this card for (well I'm sure you've guessed) my friend. It was her birthday the past weekend and she loves cute animals and drawings, so these stamps suited her perfectly. I love hedgehogs, our forest friends, I haven't seen one for ages as since we've moved we no longer get them in our neighbourhood. I have coloured the stamps using coloursoft pencils, then cut them out. The sentiment is one of the gorgeous Paper Smooches sentiments.

I made this sappy layout from last year's anniversary trip to San Francisco. I wish we could decide where to go this year! :) Any suggestions??
