Celebration Day 5:

Are you loving all the challenges so far? We're having a blast celebrating our blogaversary and hope you are too. Here are some helpful links:

Today is our final bonus challenge.

Buttons, twine, brads, ribbon, tags, flowers, bling, chipboard... the list goes on and on! We want to see your favorite embellishment(s) on your paper project.

The prize for this bonus challenge is the CTMH "Sophia" paper, stamps, and embellishments.

Here is your design team inspiration:

My favorite embellishment is-butterflies! Paper, chipboard, veneer-I love them all, and use them all the time!

For me, my favourite embellishments was quite a hard challenge, I have so many I like :) I realised though that some of my favourite embellishments on others pages and on my own are handmade ones. They are fun to make, fun to use and can be tailor made to suit your project. On this LO, all of the flowers and buttons are handmade. I have made the flowers using many different materials, and the buttons are made by hand using fimo. For more details on my handmade embellishments and some close up photos, please visit my blog.

I love twine...any color or type and love to use it in my projects so I decided I would alter a little empty Crystal Light container to store my smaller, odd pieces of twine in.

This was a super easy challenge for me, and I loved every bit of it! Most of you can easily tell what my favorite embellishment is, but I don't have one, but 3! I LOVE flowers, crocheted doilies and rose trim! When I can I also love to use swirls and bling! So I had tons of fun incorporating all these on one layout! I have been a fan of the doilies for a while, and ordered a bunch from Australia a few months ago! I was determined to get them no matter what!

My favorite embellishment on any layout is lots of circles! It doesn't matter if they're die cut, tin pins, pearls, label stickers, punched, or what- I just love the look of circles!

My current favorite embellishment is chipboard! I'm finding myself buying the chipboard that coordinates with my favorite collections. I love how easy a card or layout comes together and adds dimension.

It's your turn!! We want to see your favorite embellishments on a paper project.
Normal TPV rules apply: one entry per person, layouts must be new or recent (14 days) to qualify for the CTMH prize. All challenges this week end Tuesday at noon.

Spotlights will be posted tomorrow! So play along with our challenges all week for a chance to be featured on Monday.
