Meet the TPV creators :)

Meet Suzanne!

I'm Suzanne - I go by my nickname Suzy on my blog {Scrap with Suzy} though. It just had a better ring to it! ;) I'm a wife to my wonderfully supportive, caring, funny, and handsome hubby Dave. He never ceases to amaze me! We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary in November. Here's us headed to his black tie work Christmas party last weekend.

We share our home with Jax, our 3 year old puggle. He was my 25th birthday present and would have held the ring around his collar when my hubby proposed, but couldn't be couldn't trusted! LOL! He keeps us entertained and like my hubby, doesn't mind having his picture taken. What more could a scrapbooker want?!

Ah, isn't he adorable. He's my baby and will always be considered my "first born" lol. And speaking of which, my hubby and I are trying to have a baby. We are working with a fertility specialist to try to create a miracle ourselves, but are also looking into adoption. Whichever way we become parents, we'll embrace. Jax needs a sibling! ;)

Until then...  I am kept busy with my full time job as a first grade teacher and the wonderful world of scrapbooking! I have a great family and awesome friends - but this hobby, blogging, and connecting with people all over the world has brought something special to my life. Of course, capturing memories and persevering our life's stories - but also connecting with so many people who share my same passion is PRETTY neat ;)

So happy to have started this little challenge blog with my BFF across the miles Abby and have you all be apart of it!!!

Here are a few of my favorite projects.

Meet Abby!

My name is Tabitha, but friends have called me Abby for many years. I'm a single mom in central Illinois. My son, Braydon, is my world. He's an 11 y/o handsome sweetheart who is full of energy and creativity. I also have a couple furry ones- our cat, Logan and pup, Cooper. I've worked for our school district for about 8 years, the last few years as a substitute.

I've always been the creative type. In grade school and high school I won many awards for my drawing. 12 years ago, I discovered the world of scrapbooking and was hooked instantly. Last year, I started cardmaking, too, and wow.. who knew cardmaking could be so much fun!?

I'm far from a calm and organized crafter. My crafting area is always a mess, loud video game noise in the background, dog barking or chasing after the cat, my toddler nephew (who I babysit often) running through my place like a tornado, dinner smoking from the stove or a constant "Mom!? Mom!? Mom!?" in my ear - it's complete chaos most days. Somehow this all works for me because if the house is still and quiet- I have a hard time locating my crafty mojo! :)

I am SUPER thrilled to have started The Paper Variety with my most awesome bestie, Suzanne, and I'm so excited about this next term! Can't wait to see where 2011 takes us! :)

Here are a few of my favorite projects..
