We set a record - 33 entries in last week's challenge! The sky was the limit and you girls knocked it out of the park ;) And another congratulations to Debbie!
We have a special treat for you this week. I asked our Team B to create an "anything goes" scrapbook page. The challenge? Draw inspiration from one of these great projects and show us your take on it! It's a..

What are you playing for this week? Well it may say fall on the calendar but it feels like winter on the East Coast... BRRR! I'm giving away a new collection from Bo Bunny to one lucky scraplifter.
Are you ready to see the projects?! A variety of layouts to choose from for your scraplift. Your page doesn't have to look just like one of the ones below, put your own spin on it and let us know what inspired you.
I created a layout of my husband and I from this summer. Will you show us a page of you and YOUR honey? How about a page using one of these popular scalloped circle die cuts?
"Awwww!" look at that cutie. Will you scrap a studio portrait? Add some fun journaling strips?
Another one photo layout, love it! Especially those using an older photo. Will you scapbook a road trip? Use corrugated alphas? Love the texture they add to a layout.
This page gives me a happy heart :) I love the blue/pink/black color combo. Will you lift it? How about splitting your page in thirds - with a long title, row of pictures, and handwritten journaling?
I was hoping someone would do a 2 pager :) Shawn did not let me down! I love showcasing lots of photos over a double spread. Will you double the fun? Lots of ideas here for letting the pictures tell the story.
Tessa
I'm with you Carson - I do not dig early mornings either ;) Will you scrap your favorite time of day? How about a painted photo mat? I also love Tessa's penned bubble letter title!
Who will you choose to scraplift? Along with your layout, let us know which page inspired you and how you incorporated it and made it your own :)
Link below before noon next Tuesday for a chance to win Bo Bunny's Winter Joy!
Hi Girls as always the challenge I like, but I can not see all the images.
ReplyDeleteEveryone did a fabulous job!!! Awesome work ladies. :)
ReplyDelete- April
Beautiful stuff girls, really beautiful! :) I am so thankful to be on such a talented team!!! :) <3
ReplyDeleteWow! Love all the layouts!! I am with you Shannon, I am very grateful to be on The Paper Variety!!
ReplyDeleteI uploaded my layout! I got inspiration from Suzanne's layout using the big scalloped circle! Really great inspiration ladies and I'm really happy to be participating for the first time!
ReplyDeleteI made a card inspired by Angi's super cute layout! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great site! This is my first challenge but I'm already looking forward to the next one. What awesome layouts from the design team. Thanks Suzanne for the inspiration for my layout! Have a great day ladies!
ReplyDeleteHard to choose which one to lift - went with Tessa's in the end. Lots of fun. thanks.x
ReplyDeletefantastic work ladies!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is hard to choose!!! Guess I'll have to look at pics and see what works best ???
ReplyDeleteI chose Angi's for inspiration! I don't think I have ever scrapped a professional photo! So that's what I chose and I also added some journaling strips and a cute little girl just like hers!! :D
ReplyDeleteI decided to use elements from Tessa's layout! They are the cluster with the heart, star and flower to the lower right of the photo. I also drew a box around the photo as a frame and added some buttons in a couple of clusters. I also added a scallop to the right of the photo--which Tessa also included in her layout!

Loved this challenge! I loved the look of Melissa's corrugated alphas...great texture...so I tried to get the same effect by using an embossing folder on the tree trunk on my page. I think it turned out well! I, like Melissa, scrapped an older photo ... just not quite as old as hers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the challenge!

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI lifted Suzanne's LO, loved her design with the scalloped circle. I didn't have a diecut, so I punched circles, stitched and created mine!
Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Monica :)
