My name is Shawn Lahr and I live with my husband and three children in Pennsylvania. I have been scrapbooking for six years. I started out actually making cards...cards and more cards when a friend of mine had a Stampin' Up party. I was really drawn to the scrapbooking craft after giving up my full time job working underground to focus on raising my family. Once I started, I was totally enthralled in the whole process. The pictures...the papers...the embellishments, what's not to love? I would consider my style shabby-chic. I love putting a lot of stuff on each layout. My inspiration is definitely my children. Their everyday activities, expressions and comedy just wants me to get it recorded on paper.
When I'm not scrapbooking, I enjoy playing co-ed volleyball, reading and watching movies with my family.
I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of The Paper Variety!
