Submission Spotlight!

Happy Halloween, everyone! We hope you all had a safe and fun weekend!

It was soooo difficult to choose just two entries this week! There are so many great projects entered, we're just in awe from all the beautiful creations! So many grid patterns, nice distressing and colorful projects. But alas, just two, we must. :(

Suzanne choose Lynn's "piles of smiles" layout. She liked how Lynn used playful embellishments like mesh, swirls, chunky flowers to showcase her fun photo. You can learn more about Lynn's layout by visiting her blog.

I chose to feature Kelly's "thank you" card. I love how Kelly repeated this gorgeous tree stamp in different soft colors and also gave one of them extra dimension. Beautiful card! You can learn more about Kelly's card by visiting her blog.

Congratulations Lynn & Kelly!
Here's a blinkie to display on your blogs! :)

There's still time to enter your project for a chance to win these fabulous crafting kits from our great sponsor, Apron Strings Designs!

Submission Spotlight!

Wow! Our largest turnout so far :) Loving all the sweet projects and such a variety of presentations too! It was a heard choice, but Abby and I have made our choices.

Abby chose to feature Mir's treat box. Love the color combination, design of the box and the many embellishments. Such a nice gift for someone special. You can read more about Mir's project on her blog Abbondanza Fiesta.

I chose to feature Sue's treat bags she made for her nephews. Sue used her cricut to cut the box and die cut tag. I like how Sue kept it simple, while still creating a beautiful handmade gift. Love how the orange and black ribbon adds a fun touch. Read more about Sue's project on her blog The Scrappings of Sue.

Here is a special blinkie to share on your blog! :)

These holiday candy cones are SO festive and filled with yummy Hershey kisses, too. I would love to find one on my doorknob!

This adorable ghost says banners aren't just for scrapbook layouts. I don't know what I love more the candy corn or the topper :)

How clever is this recycled craft box? Love the Sassafrass papers and tiny type alphas.

The perfect remedy for "senioritis"!

These canvas treat bags are so neat and embellished with clothespins and chipboard.

The poem on this candy wrapper is so cute. Love the patterned papers and scallop sentiment!

I made these little library pockets for my students and filled with M&Ms. Quick and easy!

Submission Spotlight!

We have some beautiful cards to choose from this week!
All the entries are great, we had a tough time choosing-
wish we could spotlight all of them! We're hoping to see many
more entries in the next few days. This week has had a much
lower participation than the past weeks-- is there a party going on
somewhere we don't know about? We wanna go too! Ha! ;)

Here are our featured project picks for week 5.
Suzanne chose to spotlight Ann O's card for her clever use of lemons for the scallop circles. What a cheerful card!
Abby chose to spotlight mustangkayla's card.
Love the polkadot and how these colors
contrast so nicely.
Congratulations Ann O. and Mustangkayla!
Here's a blinkie to display on your blogs :)

winning this super cute clear stamp set from our
